Stainless Steel Coolant Pipes
The main coolant pipes run under the car from the radiator at the front to the engine. The original steel pipes will over time rust and start to leak (see headgasket failure right).

We recommend replacement with stainless pipes which will last much longer, seen here next to rusted original fittings.

Rear Window Replacements
Perspex windows in the softtop can become difficult to see through over time and sometimes crack or split. We can supply and fit a replacement window in your existing hood.

Glass Upgrades
Another option is to replace the perspex with a glass window. The glass windows are heated so rear visibility is good even on a frosty morning. A switch for the heated window replaces one of the blanks on the dashboard. The wiring from the widow to the switch is a part of the wiring loom as standard. The MGTF pictured right had the perspex window replaced after it had split. The owner reported that folding the hood down is now easier as the glass lays down flat when before the perspex would fold upwards and had to be pushed down each time.

Suspension Upgrades
The ride of the MGTF can be a bit hard for everyday driving. We regularly fit adjustable shockabsorbers. These retain the cars sporty feel and great handling, but greatly improve comfort and ride quality. Call Graham for Details 01825 762040

General Repairs and Servicing
We carry out all general repairs and maintenance of MGF and TF. Including bodywork repairs and painting.

Our servicing includes an inspection and report on any existing faults and potential future faults. This allows for forward planning and simple fixing before faults become major costly failures. We find this is a cost effective approach and helps to maintain reliability.
